Come On Thru 05:05
I know you're lonely See, baby if only you'd turn around Look to me Talk to me You've seen some things now you can't see me quite the same It's getting late now I think we can stay for one more or two Honey, come on thru Please, come on thru Your demons drink whiskey I need you to come on thru Come on thru to my side Twine your heart with gold Come on thru to my side These nights are turning cold I know you're lonely I know you're lonely

In Flight 02:49
I'm dreaming been dreaming Sweet dreaming about cotton candy clouds I'm drifting so far from shore now Must be because I'm mortuary bound We're headed toward nowhere, nowhere embedded in war and welfare Do you long to be a bird flying high over sea? I'm dreaming always dreaming I'm dancing in the eye of sugar swirls If seeing is believing we've lost sight of the magic in this world Beware of the ordinary before you're a mercenary Do you long to be relieved from this life that you lead?

Reconcile my mind let me be blind again teach me to be kind again Reconcile my hands latch every dagger den leave me with my ink and pen Reconcile these walls bring back the morning sun reparations for what I've done Reconcile my heart before I kill someone with lies and a loaded gun I talk to Jesus I wonder if he heard I talk to Jesus he never says a word Reconcile my mind help me prioritize shake me back down to size Reconcile my hands give me a grip to bend isolation into a friend Reconcile these walls show me the naked truth I'm lost on a facile youth Reconcile my heart before I drown myself back at the bottom shelf I talk to Jesus I wonder if he heard I talk to Jesus he never says a word

If clouds could speak, they'd say to me in your voice Come to me I miss you so I wait beneath your shade watching lovers pass by I wish I could fly If trees could dance, they'd move like you beneath the veil the moon is blue just like my heart each time I wake from sleep to find an empty bedside I wish I could cry I just want to die If clouds could sing how I wish they would sing to me how I wish you could come to me I'll be seeing you in dreams Only in my dreams

Sleep 04:25
Stars burn bright while our eyes shut wide Here we meet again in a dream Moon, be still while I chase a thrill I can almost break through the seam Sleep Limbs lay dead while I bleed my head Can we meet again in the deep? Moon, keep still while I make a deal with a man whose sand can bring dreams Sleep

about

If Peter Pan's Wendy Darling were to have formed a band after returning from the isle of Neverland, it might sound a lot like The Hushabyes. The sounds you'll hear on their introduction EP "Music Box" all crystallized from a love for harmonies, and the desire to heal.

Jenny’s songwriting is a mixed bag of influences. She grew up singing in church alongside her grandparents, and viewed life through stained glass windows, imbuing her music with a moody and timeless color. Her songs rummage through the past, and she derives much of her inspiration from doo-wop era harmonies, classic film scores, and traditional hymns.

The Hushabyes sound is a culmination of every ghost and epiphany that came before it. Tread lightly when you stumble upon these sirens. The water is deep, and you’ll likely find yourself waltzing in the eye of the storm before the winds pick back up.
